Ahmad H. Al-Nawafleh, (PhD, MPA, CI, RN), associate Professor of health systems and nursing management at Mutah University in Jordan. He became a nurse in 1992 after earning his BSN degree, he became a critical care nurse specializing in coronary care. He had worked with clients of all ages in various hospitals, emergency care facilities, clinics, medical wards, and private practice. Whether in the role of staff nurse, supervisor, director, consultant, or teacher, his nursing practice of care focuses on the individuals and groups health.
After earning clinical instructors diploma he started training and teaching nurses in the service and teaching students in the community college system. Ahmad became an assistant professor at the University of Mutah, Faculty of Nursing, where he taught for six years in the undergraduate and graduate programs. Then Promoted to associate professor since 2015. His nursing research has focused on nursing management, health policy, public health, patient safety, decision making, primary health services and staffing issues. He had presented on these topics at numerous conferences. His abiding passion continues to focus on the recognition and amelioration of staffing and policies, wherever it exists. He currently lives in Mutah, Jordan, where he works as academic and writes about health, leadership, policy, and nursing.
الدكتور احمد النوافله استاذ مشارك في العلوم الصحية ودراسات التمريض في جامعة مؤتة. حصل النوافله على درجة الدكتوراة من جامعة نوتنجهام في بريطانيا وقد عمل كباحث في البنك الحيوي البريطاني. وانتقل كاستاذ مساعد في جامعة مؤتة قبل ان يعود لجامعة نوتنجهام لدراسة التطور المهني والاكاديمي لخريجي برامج الدكتوراة في التمريض. ثم التحق بجامعة ميتشجان في الولايات المتحدة الامريكية لدراسة التشاركية بين المؤسسات الاكاديمية ومراكز الخدمة الصحية. اهتمامات النوافلة البحثية تتمحور حول الأبحاث النوعية والتحليل النوعي، النظم الصحية والخدمات التمريضية، سلامة المرضى وجودة الخدمات الصحية، اتخاذ القرارات، الرعاية الصحية الاولية والسياسات الصحية وقضايا الكوادر الصحية.
