" Dr. Alja’Afreh holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering-Communications Engineering and an MSc in Communications Engineering from Mutah University, Jordan, along with a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Liverpool, UK 2015. His research expertise lies in high frequency circuits design for wireless applications, including 3G, 4G, 5G, WiFi, and MIMO antennas, with over 80 refereed publications in prestigious journals and conferences. Dr. Alja’Afreh has secured significant research funding on both national and international levels.
In addition to his academic contributions, he served as Head of the Electrical Engineering Department and Vice Dean of Academic Affairs at Mutah University. He played a key role in securing an 8-year ABET accreditation for the Electrical Engineering Department in Mutah University. Currently, he works as an Associate Professor at American International University, Kuwait, he excels in teaching and mentoring within a multicultural academic environment. Dr. Alja’Afreh is proficient in CANVAS and MOODLE LMS and has demonstrated leadership in strategic planning, resource management, and project management in both academic and industrial settings.
