Students will visit Jordan National Center for Remote Sensing and analyze some aerial photographs. |
Research Methods Advanced | Master | The basic goal of this course is to introduce the students to the Inferential Statistics and its applications in the scientific researches. The objectives of this course are to acquaint students with the essential components of the data analysis techniques, to give them an opportunity to develop viable academic researches. The course structure includes review of descriptive statistics, sample theory, tests of hypotheses, regression analysis, and analysis of variance. Since the use of computer applications software has become a dominant of much of the analytical work done in the academic researches, an additional goal of the course will be to familiarize students with such computer applications. Finally, this course requires two exams and one term pap. |

In addition, to train the students how to applied the field survey to collect data. |
Terrain Analysis | Fourth Year | The course aims to use the geographic knowledge and skills which gained by the students in analyzing and evaluation the geographic regions. It includes the concept of terrain analysis, its evaluation, systems and applications in different areas as terrain analysis changes and explanation by using aerial photography and field survey the study of natural hazards in addition to the limitation of soil erodability. The students will prepare their reports after field visits. |

It includes the studying of the geographic nature of the water basins, feeding regions, the main problems of them and the methods of decreasing the effects of these problems. It includes the study of natural situations, analyzing of production and its obstacles, population and cities in addition to some environmental problems. The students will visit some selected locations and prepare some reports related to the contents. |
