and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from The University of Liverpool/UK in electrical engineering 2015..

Dr Ziyad was the Department of Electrical Engineering head from 5/2018 to 7/2019 and from 10/2023 -Now
He was the Director assistant for the renewable energy Affairs at the Prince Faisal Center For Dead Sea, Environmental and Energy Research. Supervising Mutah university 5MW Solar PV Power Plant from 03/2020 to 10/2023. .

His current research interest is in Power system protection, Electrical energy management and Renewable energy.
